Lovely pub! Great event! Can't wait to go to some more of these events! The chef and manager was so friendly and helpful and bubbly! Not to mention the massive portion sizes for such a great price! Honestly was amazing well done! Xxx
The Bartenders were quite nice and quick to provide service. It was a bit quiet though as it was a weekday.

I am a positive person and I only ever give constructive criticism. I have been today for Sunday roast and here are my thoughts. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Pub looked clean, I did not use the toilets so cannot comment. The tables are brilliant to eat at. Real nice wooden table tops. The food was hot The meat was tender Plenty of choice of vegetables and potatoes. It was costly, I ordered 2 dinners, 1 J2O and 1 bag in box coke and I handed in £30.00 and got back £4.65 change. So it cost me £25.35. That seems expensive for 2 dinners and 2 drinks. Food served on 8" plates, don't know why because the meat is plated, so vegetables don't cost much, so what would you lose to serve on 10" plates Gravy was like water. No real taste as it was very thin. My review is not meant to be negative but although we enjoyed our visit, we wouldn't go back which is a shame as it is a lovely friendly local which may have been a Sunday local for us.
Great local pub! We just moved to the area and required a local to celebrate a Birthday. Even though short staffed due to Covid, the landlord was very accommodating and provided plenty of food, great value for money and a pleasant atmosphere. We will be going back for sure.
We celebrated an 18th birthday party here! The private buffet was excellent! The pub was fantastic and handled us very well. Can't wait to return..great place.

A lovely clean pub where Dean and his staff make everyone welcome with a friendly attitude. The food is lovely with proper homemade chips and very generous portions. Well worth a visit whether for a drink, a meal or the regular live bands.
Never fails to please. Decent down to earth pub.
Lovely polite friendly staff didn't get the chance to enjoy thier food menu yet as we turned up late so I be looking forward to thier carvery on a Sunday next time plus other meals on menu threw out the week they also do take away deliveries and i can't wait when they start having gigs ect at thus place I'm sure it be enjoyable evenings
