Typically dine here a few times a year, I like that they frequently change the menu here in line with the season. I advise booking a table in advance if dining on a weekend. There is a bar area that it small and is not the best place to come just for a drink during peak hours. Food is always well presented with a varied selection on the menu and fairly priced for what you get. They can also accommodate big parties if booked in advance.

This is a great place to enjoy a beer. Warm and cozy place especially when the fire place is on. Service quality fluctuates dramatically from day to day. Pub Food is good but the restaurant has hygiene issues (sticky tables, dirty cutlery, messy floor etc) . In addition, two times we have been served by drunk waiters that smelled and looked very drunk (so drunk that one time we had to give the order again). The waiters do not seem to have the appropriate training while the chef do not keep them informed on what is still available and what is not! A place with a great potential but due to the location and the beauty of the place, the management has neglected the quality of the service.

Feels like a canteen. No atmosphere. 04/04/18 downgraded to two stars after a long wait for food. My sausage and mash was too salty and came with no other vegetables. But I did like my deep fried camembert. Pros: A good waitress service - she understood the needs of my 3 year old well. Resonably priced ££ Easy access for my 92 year old Father.

This place has a nice feeling about it. It is not noisy nor rowdy even although children are present, no disrespect to the kids by the way. The staff are pleasant and when you order your meal, it doesn't take forever to come. The meals are well presented too and taste lovely. Also there are plenty of parking places available. Well there was when I last visited it. Well worth a visit with family or couples.

Went to the Jack Rabbit for a meal for our wedding anniversary paid for with a voucher from our son and daughter-in-law. Starters were good. Then my husband ordered the duo lamb and was told there was no lamb left. He then ordered the ham hock only to be told they had no ham hocks. He then settled for the salmon which was overcooked. We asked for the bill and gave the waitress the voucher. She said she couldn't give us the difference back even though the voucher said we could use it multiple times. We were told we could use it up at the bar. We are now out of pocket.. Have tried to ring a few times but just get a message asking to ring back. Is there anyone who can sort this out please as not happy.
