Wonderful meal here, looked after by Francesco who ensured our experience was perfect. The food was delicious too, I had Truffle Aracini and The Ivy Burger while my wife had Stilton Salad and Peruvian Chicken all dishes were full of taste and reasonable size portions. With food and drinks this cost just shy of £100 including tip. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. We went on Saturday evening
It was very busy and we left our name on the list and spent nearly half an hour in the pub. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The beef tartar could be a little more elaborate in its presentation of spices and flavours, instead of just mixing the ready-made sauce in front of the guest.
We went for the 1917 offer basically any two courses for £19.17 The selection was fine and the food we chose was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. We sat at the bar after our meal to have a couple of the amazing cocktails on offer very entertaining watching the barmen. Needless to say our bill came to a few bob more than £19.17 each but worth every penny.
We came for dinner. My friend is vegan and I eat meat. Considering that there’s a vegan/veggie menu we thought there would be some good options but the vegan options were quite lacking- tomato soup, curry, burger not very imaginative unfortunately. I got the scallops and beef tartare. They were both delicious though the random tater tots with the scallops really cheapened the dish. The bread was delicious too! I will say that the olive portion was absolutely shocking… we got 5 olives for £4.25. Nearly a POUND per olive. Mental. And it’s also the only vegan pre starter. We ordered way too much food and luckily there were boxes to take away. The ambiance was great and the servers were lovely though one did question my friend if she was cool with me eating meat in front of her which she obviously was. We had a great time overall!
The Colombian man with the tattoos was very attentive and friendly. Although busy, didn’t forget our table . We had the fish and chips . Generous servings and lovely dessert. eritrean waiter was also great and black girl with hair back. Good food and service overall Clean premises and toilets. nice atmosphere.
Been to many other Ivy destinations but first time here. Great spot around 5mins walk from Oxford Circus, just off Carnaby Street. Very colourfully decorated/designed restaurant area and good dimensions so almost every table had a good view of the rest of the venue. Service was efficient and friendly, and although no pressure to leave it is clear that they closely watch time allocations for each table. We chose the 1917 Menu £19.17 which must be one of the best value menus in London. Delicious food and reasonable selection of options - we both went for the vegetarian Malaysian curry for our main course. Excellent! Chose a Virgin Mary as a drink - and perfectly made too. We went on a Tuesday lunchtime and atmosphere was good with almost every table full. Recommended!
We went to The Ivy Soho for my birthday dinner with all of the family. The staff made it so wonderful- special thank you to Anais for your amazing hospitality. She was so lovely and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. Thank you to the other gentleman that also helped with cocktail choices and shots! And the birthday cake was delicious.
Bloody Mary and The Ivy Special Iced Tea which was divine I had The Ivy Burger which was nice I'm glad they put that sauce on the side, it was fine but I'm not into ketchupy flavours the bun was dry but the rest chips included was great. Staff were the best and the place is always a vibe lovely atmosphere. Apparently the bloody Mary and the vegan burger was very nice!
Amazing experience. A 5 star worthy restaurant but at an affordable price. The two courses for £20 is a brilliant and fair idea. Our server Abel was very lovely and welcoming who was attentive and considerate. A server who makes conversation is always a must! As two students this was the perfect celebratory dinner. I would recommend The Ivy to anyone looking to dine at a restaurant worth your money and time. Will be coming back.
My friends and I love Ivy. We meet at the various locations every time! Excellent food, cocktails, atmosphere and service. The chocolate bomb dessert is the best! Espresso martinis, and also range of whiskies. Something for everyone! Vegetarian options: Ask for vege specific menu!
