This use to be a great place to by a burger with a nice pint of strongbow cider ,drink was ok but the beef burger and sweet potato fries where so over cooked they where uneatble

Always a great and different choice of hand pull beer. A step above a normal Wetherspoons. Edit... Not a Wetherspoons anymore but it pretty much does the same. Great choice of local beers with a mix to suit all. Not too impressed with the food though. Needs work.

I don t think I ll go twice here. Beer had washing liquid flavour, probably the glass wasn t rinsed well. Steak was pretty pink even was ordered medium and even like this was gummy. fish didn t have a crispy batter. Nice interior. Good prices but food could be better.

Not a Wetherspoons anymore but still a lot of the good original staff and that's what makes this a good pub to visit. Beer is a good price and changes regularly. Good music and football on the TV. Good atmosphere and the food isn't bad either. A good place to chill.

since being sold by Wetherspoons the prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone down
