We had a large family gathering 17 people, ages 6-82! from all over the UK and our dinner choice was the Inn on the Tay. And we weren't disappointed. the staff were fantastic in the planning. It is a beautiful location we dined outside and the service and the food was outstanding. We had some specific dietary requirements and they couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks for a great night!
I really great restaurant! Great view of the river, terrific food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, and a lovely atmosphere. There is a cosy bar area with a fire, as well as a restaurant area with panoramic views of the river. The pie of the day was amazing too, I normally don't like pies but the pastry was light and delicious and unlike any pie I've ever had before. Sticky toffee pudding was also great, so rich and moist.
Had dinner at Inn on the Tay. Exceptional in every way! Beautiful views. The Venison main course was incredible. Milly and Fiona were attentive without being pushy. Wonderful atmosphere. An all round delightful eveningService: 5/5
Sunday lunch with the family. Fabulous roast beef with all the trimmings. Burgers and Mac n Cheese for the kids. Beautiful views of the Tay in full flood. Delicious and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back and would thoroughly recommend!
First visit - Superb. Fantastic friendly welcome and service. Great view out to the Tay. Great coffee and tablet - had the small fish n chips £12 which was sufficient for lunch - and expertly cooked - one of the best I've had. It came so quickly as well. Perfect.
Attended for an evening meal with my brother and his wife visiting from Australia. Stunning location and views. Excellent service from the girls waiting table. My brother sticks strictly to a keto diet and had no problems making his courses choices. Delicious food.Service: 5/5
Wonderful eating experience, great food and drink selection. Amazing spot on the river, nice shops nearby. The kayaking and canoeing down the river in opposite is great fun for the capable paddler. Campsite nearby too. So plenty to draw you to the area
The staff were all very polite and nice. The food was unreal and there was a good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food took roughly 15/20 minutes for each course which was a good amount of time.
You are right on the river. You can watch them kayaking while you have something to eat. You should book beforehand as they are usually busy. The Sunday roast beef was fantastic. The rice with plums was a delight well worth a try.
We had walked to Grantully from Aberfeldy approximately a 4 mile walk, in the rain, so turned up here, drenched and hungry. We had not booked for lunch, but the staff could not have been more welcoming. They found us a table within 5mins. The food and service was wonderful and great value for money. The Inn on the Tay is beautifully welcoming and the views across the river Tay are stunning. Unfortunately due to weather we didn't get any pics. But if you are in Grantully, this place should be on your list of places to eat.
