Ate here 3 days over last weekend and was not disappointed. Good portion size, great tastes, good variety on the menu and not one dish came out wrong or with any issues. Friday we sat 9 of us, Saturday 3 of us and Monday 7 of us. Shame we were on holiday or I’d be making this pub my regular local. I’ve had to dig deep for one improvement- make the coleslaw portions bigger!

Had a very pleasant lunch here with friends.  There was a lovely welcoming atmosphere and an even more welcoming roaring fire on a cold dreich day. Food was well presented and tasty and the menu was varied and catered for vegetarians. Highly recommended a visit.

Lovely atmosphere, love the old rustic feel to the place. Staff were good and friendly. Ordered a burger and chips, was pretty disappointed by the portion size and burger was way overcooked just tasted like charcoal wasnt enjoyable so left it and enjoyed the side portion of only about 8 chips I was given. Will give it a try again as I have enjoyed the food in the past.

Stayed overnight in the camper phoned ahead first. Cracking good and beers and a lovely atmosphere. Landlord was very engaging. We would love to stay again.Service: 5/5

Went for Sunday lunch. Busy wee place but quick service and food was lovely. Traditional and cozy , nice place to relax over a pint and some grub.Service: 5/5

Lovely Inn, well worth going out of your way for. Great food, reasonable prices and lots of lovely, varied local drinks. Add a welcoming atmosphere to boot and I highly recommend it!

Stopped for lunch. Soup and main + Two half pints lager. All excellent, service could have been faster but we weren't rushing. £40 almost including gratuityService: 4/5

Me and my husband went out for some food and chose to go to The Inn at pool of muckart. We called to book a table but they dont do bookings you just turn up.We planned on staying at a dollar glen in our camper. We arrived around 7.45pm the place was very busy and smelt great. Everyone was eating and it all looked beautiful. We worried we wouldn't get a table but there was a wee table up the back. It wasn't great felt like we were stuck inbetween 2 big tables of families eating. But it turned out to be fine. We both couldn't decide what to have because everything sounded great but we ended up ordering sirloin steak. It was cooked beautifully I'm sure on a grill as it had that flame grilled taste. It was served with homemade chips.they were so good.2 potato croquettes I loved them. Fried mushrooms,onion rings and salad. Staff were really attentive and friendly. We shared a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. The ice cream wasn't up to much it tasted cheap. But other than that it was great. We will definitely be back.
