first time The Castle's ordered a Chinese Takeaway since moving to Holyhead and we positively struck gold when we picked The Imperial Palace. Absolutely lovely meal was had by all, will definitely be working our way through their menu, yum yum!
Don’t understand why this is highly rated the food was just not good
Good portions, timely serving, location and the menu range make The Imperial Palace a very good alternative to the bigger restaurants in the area, which interestingly seem to stop serving food outside in late afternoon.
Was told there was a 50 minute wait, which was fine as we was only 3 mins away, so drove back to hotel for 40 mins and drove back.... The young lady serving was very nice and pleasant.......... BUT Chicken noodle soup was a carton crammed with long thick noodles and beansprouts with what can only be described as half a cup of tasteless dishwater. Prawn crackers bizarrely tasted of absolutely nothing.... no prawn or any other flavour. Fried chicken in satay sauce had barely any sauce at all and the fried rice had never seen a wok in it's life... it was white and again, tasteless... Sorry to be harsh, but a very honest review on our experience!
I ordered some food on Friday at 5.20 on the phone . It was ready for collection at 5.40 , and it was . 8.9 / 10 excellent food aswell Lovely young lady who answers the phone and serves you on collection
Quality food probably the best Chinese i have ever gone to. The food it always beautiful and spot on.
We were lucky to be staying in the apartments next door to imperial palace and I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing! Great service from the lady at the counter. Will definitely be going back
Ordered today at 18.15 and was told there was a wait and our order wouldn't be ready until 20.10 When I arrived I gave my name and paid. The takeaway was very busy and there were several unhappy customers waiting for their orders. After a 50 minute wait and several people asking me to repeat my order it turned out they had lost the ticket in the kitchen. Shambolic at Best and no social distancing on site due to the mismanagement! Refund given in cash as they didn't have time to put the money on my card. Avoid and go elsewhere.
We had a takeaway from this place, food absolutely fab. Would definitely recommend it. Also tried the bubble tea a couple of times too, they are very refreshing.
Had some of the nicest Chinese food I have ever tasted from here just recently. Been coming to Trearrdur Bay for years and never tried this restaurant/takeaway before. My loss. Will definitely return. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
