Okay looking pub, not spectacular but very good food, the rooms of the inn part are large but basic and next to the kitchen, we heard a fridge going on and off all night.

Monday evening meal. I can see where they are going with this place altho I don't think they're there yet. The lay out is still very pub like even though they seem to be more food focused. Perhaps the menu is more expansive on the weekends but nothing screamed order me to me....especially the starters. The room itself was cold but it's that awkward time of year between summer and autumn when heating would probably be too much. I a special which was a steak sandwich which was cooked as requested and tasted good. My friend had a burger which she enjoyed but remarked she had ordered the burger bc she'd already had the only other dish on the menu that appealed to her. I follow this place on Insta and have seen some very exciting looking dishes but perhaps they too are just specials. I didn't have dessert as I remarked to the host that I couldn't do dairy. . .he didn't really offer any suggestions/alternatives. I did like how the wait staff weren't pushy or trying to sell you more. I'll return again on a busier night to see am I feeling it more. Good value for money
Loved this place, popped in at random and the mixed platter was delicious. Also had a super friendly and efficient waitress !

Stopped for dinner, had the beer battered fish and double dipped chips. The food arrived promptly, we’ll proportioned and beautifully presented. Staff were helpful but not intrusive, price was reasonable too. Would return.Service: 5/5
In a town that's blessed with many fine eateries House stands head and shoulders above the rest. Such an imaginative menu - I could happily have eaten everything on it! I'm not a vegetarian but I was impressed by the veggie choices, which many places overlook, either in having no choice just one dish or very boring ones risotto, stir fry, yawn. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it's incredible value for money. But the crowning glory was the dessert tasting plate. OMG, it's out of this world. Order it! You will not regret it!
Outstanding customer service!!! Everyone must stop in at this place when visiting Donegal town! Our waiter Gerard provided great service - he was very friendly and provided recommendations about our trip through Ireland in addition to recommending the local whiskey as a drink with dinner. The food was excellent chicken and leek dish, dynamite shrimp and garlic flat bread. Another staff member recommended the cookie for dessert which was also fantastic. The wait staff went out of their way to make our dining experience the best we have had during our time in Ireland.
