I visited on a Sunday afternoon. All deities are present in the temple and its a blissful feeling.nMust visit place. All the committee members are very polite and nice.nAmbience is nice and you get prasadam as well.
Vasandhotsavam at the Temple, with Vedic Hymns chanting, Abhishegham, Alangharam, Archana, Neivedhyam, Bhajans, Chanting and Temple Prashad by volunteers. Donations and Volunteers are welcome. Blissful ambience for regaining energy. Temple is fully run by Volunteers and with Donations. Friendly atmosphere for networking with the community. Carnatic Singing classes are being conducted at the premises. Volunteering certificates are provided for students who need them.
The temple is open on Sundays from 11 am to 1:30 pm. It's an old church building which is converted to a temple. On weekends they have various events including some performances by children.
Visited the temple this Sunday with family, a beautiful temple with all the deities, it was a blissful and heart warming experience, down to earth people at the temple ,felt like home , a must visit place .
Nice to have a South Indian/ Tamil style temple in Glasgow! The priest spoke in English to cater for all the devotees that visit this place. The fact that it's a converted Church adds an extra charm. As does the red and white striped wall outside! It also seems to be run by relative Temple newbies so there's an enthusiasm to the operation which is sometimes lost in long standing temples. The day that we went there was also a small yoga demonstration in between the main poojas! : If you live in the area, please support them - they can definitely use everyones help!
