I recently saw an AMP called Charlotte at the practice she was excellent. Thanks so much! Also the lady with red hair on reception is very kind and helpful! Sorry I don’t know her name
I would not recommend this practice to anyone. It took me two months to register as a new patient, and I had to call to kindly ask the staff to review my form more quickly, as I was running out of meds. Eventually, I received an invitation for a new patient check-up. I finished my work early that day and arrived at the appointment, only to be told by the nurse that someone had accidentally scheduled a 5-minute slot instead of the 30 minutes required to complete all the checks. The receptionist advised me that someone would get in touch with me to reschedule, but that never happened. Today, I tried to schedule an appointment in the morning, with a 30-minute wait, but had no success. Currently, I've been on the phone for 45 minutes, and nobody is answering. This is certainly the worst GP practice I have ever been registered with.
The worst doctors since covid. its like covid was an excuse for them to be able to be lazy and careless. Can never use the app its always turned of and can never get appointments even for my children, i rarely even use the doctors because of how difficult it is to get an appointment and when i do try its pointless. really feel for the elderly patients if this is what they have to deal with to get an appointment.
Joke of a doctors sat on hold for 40 mins 1st in que but when I went In All sat chatting ignoring the phone. Disgrace avoid then if you do need help and they wonder why the hospitals are full
Online at form not working , staff are aware of that , despite this not willing to make an appointment over the phone, questioning the inability to send online request ,the answer ring next day 8am, regardless of the fact that i am on thr phone and can arrange an app for the following week, being persistent and you get erudeness at the other end
Doctors who don't want to treat you don't want to refer you to specialists like a gastroenterologist, gynecologist, doctors who write a prescription for imodium which is sold in any store like paracetamol. You come to the doctor with 5 problems and for all 5 problems your doctor says that they none of them can help you. Visiting this clinic is a waste of time and money of the state. I do not recommend this clinic.
They have some very good Dr's like Dr Syed, and the nurse Praga is brilliant, absolutely world class at her job a true jem. However theirs some very rude unhelpful people in reception , you carnt get through between 8am and 9am for an emergency appointment. General appointments are always 2-3 weeks away and theirs often alot of going back and forth between the pharmacy with the surgery reception saying they sent the prescription and the pharmacy saying they have not received it.
I submitted a request through the online patches service to be followed up with a phone call from a doctor. The doctor assigned to my request called me letting the phone ring out only once, not allowing me to answer the phone. I called the reception for the call to be made again as I was available. The doctor called again and only let the phone ring out once. I called the reception for the call to be put directly through and they kindly put me through to the doctor. The doctor assigned to the request was incredibly rude, the worst client/patient service I have ever received. I think the NHS should review the phone call as it was disgraceful. It was Monday 27 June 2022 at around 11:38am. The doctor said "what do you want?" And as I proceeded to explain what the patches request was even though he should have read the request beforehand, he then spoke over me and argued with me about the request. The doctor also mumbled and did not say thank you or goodbye at the end of the phone call. Please can this call be looked into.
Amazing service, saw a third year med student for my flu jab. Extremely gentle and pleasant. Reception team awesome too - got me in within an hour of my phonecall, THEN seen early on top! thank you!!
I have been at the Heights for a few years and have always received excellent service and care from the admin staff and doctors/nurses. During the pandemic I think it has been great that they have launches Patches - I find it much easier for non urgent matters as I don’t even have to leave work for an appointment, I can just step out to take the call from the doctor and then get right back to work. I have also had face to face appointments despite the pandemic for urgent matters and was recently referred through a&e at Salford Royal on the same day which I think probably saved me a lot of hours of waiting in a&e! A note to anyone who isn’t sure how to use Patches in an Apple device - you have to use Safari or it won’t work, Google Chrome doesn’t work for some reason but I have always managed fine in Safari.
