Heb Hostel was a lovely place to stay. It had a very central location, which was perfect for catching the early morning ferry, was clean and comfortable, and the host Christine was highly accommodating and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Heb Hostel to other travellers looking to stay the night in Stornoway.
Lovely place. Just how a hostel should look like. Yes, you'll share your room, like every other hostel, but the cleanliness, comfort and facilities make you feel like home. Great place!
Very clean, good location in centre of Stornaway. Shed storage for our bikes. Very COVID aware. Christine at Heb Hostel went the extra mile for us when we phoned up last minute and very reasonable rates, better than what was found on Skye. Just opening after COVID shutdown.
Fantastic little place to stay. Parking a bit tricky but otherwise welcome was warm and facilities good. A short hop and skip from town and the ferry too. Would happily stay again.
The staff were wonderful! They provide some basics for breakfast, clean rooms and cozy common areas and are so helpful! I loved my time with them.
Lovely hostel with a homely feeling! You walk in to find made beds, a kitchen with all you need for cooking including oil, spices, etc and the most welcoming staff.
What a great hostel. The hospitality is the best. I stayed in the Shepherds Hut for 1 week and love it. I highly recommend it.
Great wee place. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. It is 2 minutes from the ferry and closer to Stornoway high street.
