Enjoyed our trip out to the Haywain Pizza & Carvery the atmosphere was friendly, service was very clear and well maintained. Well managed. Worth a thought if you are looking for a good meal and the pudding menu was good as well - pictured cookie dough with mallows and a touch of seret syrup
Such a lovely pub and always welcoming. The staff always go the extra mile for us, manager man is so good. we go in as a big family group of 14+ and they let us have the lovely private function room. Highly recommend a carvery with a bit of everything! my mouths watering! and they have nice garden with wooden climbing frame when its sunny. Loads of parking.
Needed a dog friendly pub .After reading the reviews we paid a visit. We were greeted by a very friendly dog loving staff member . Showed us to our table and explained how to order etc. we both had a 3 course festive meal . And I must say all 3 course’s were fantastic. Crispy prawns, carvery and cherry sponge to finish. Will definitely visit again. Definitely recommend this place x
All five of our starters, mains and desserts arrived at the same time- all looked great and tasted delicious. The vegetarian pizza mains were exceptionally good and the meat carvery and vegetarian carveries were all high quality and tasty. The desserts and bottomless ice-cream, for those with room, rounded off a good value for money meal with helpful, attentive staff at hand.
George the perfect manager!! Honestly the nicest way to be told that though the pizza oven maybe broken and one of the ovens is out so limited carvery as we didn't book. He and his staff made the evening going above and beyond ;. Lovely fresh food with smart fast service. We will be back.
Pizza oven broken again, so if you don't want a carvery it leaves battered fish or burgers. Taking far too long for food to arrive, in fact I had to ask for our desserts again after waiting 50 minutes. My burger wasn't great, but apparently the carvery was good.
Great atmosphere and a great roast. Staff were pleasant. Did everything possible too enjoy our visit, even tho it was very busy, no wait on food either. Have to mention Sean as he was a breath of fresh air a real nice young man serving us and made it an experience
A very popular venue. We went on a Sunday. It was packed. Fortunately, because we were a large group, we were allocated a room of tables just for us. Marvellous! The food was standard pub fayre. The carvery was popular, with diners in general and my family. We had a good time.
Great experience for our last day at work. We all enjoyed a nice breakfast and the staff were very accommodating. Our servers name was James, absolute legend and went the extra mile. Top service from him. Would definitely recommend.
Food was delicious and hot. The building was cold, we were squashed around a table meant for 6. Most food was ordered on the app but no one told us we could get carvery so we waited ages. We couldn't order coffee on the app. The staff kept walking past to see if we had finished because they had another booking. Not the best birthday lunch I've experienced.
