Unlike many harvesters I've visited, this one was slightly disappointing. My favourite meal due to the new menu, no longer serves mashed potatoes alongside it but jacket potato instead, but no big deal. So when asked to have mashed potatoes as a side, I was told they were out of mashed potatoes. How can you be out of mashed potatoes when you have jacket potatoes? This is a little inconvenience​. The main issue was that after ordering our food and waiting half an hour, it was discovered it hadn't 'gone through' so after a short delay our food finally came, whilst everyone around us who arrived much later received their food first. Then not to drag out about the stupid potato, but the jacked potato was over cooked, leaving the outside skin with a burnt taste. Just slightly disappointing when harvester is one of my go-to places to eat.
A warm and friendly welcome from all the staff, in particular the lovely Penny who waited on our table with a smile and friendly chat. We didn't feel at all rushed or bothered with constant 'is everything alright with your meal' invasions every 5 minutes but subtle and appropriate attention was welcomed. A return visit is definately a must.
Have been numerous times and never had a bad meal yet,allways hot and delicious. Staff very polite and welcoming.
Service was excellent but unfortunately food was poor and we were overcharged. Filled up on salad and a side order of chips instead.

love the breakfast. So much choice for all...shame it is closing soon
Nice and friendly atmosphere and service.
Family favorite. Reliably good.
