Fantastic!!!! What a lovely treat on a Wednesday night for myself and my partner. We took full advantage of the two courses per person, plus a bottle of house wine for £40.and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were lovely and we will definitely be returning.
We decided to go here for a birthday treat as I had a buy one get one free voucher, my daughter had steak and I had the pork, my other daughter had the lunch menu wrap. The rump steak was very burnt and fatty and small, the size of a small chop, the wrap was very small like a child's wrap and had vertually no humus inside, the only meal that was okay was the pork, a few things off the menu isn't as described when you get it, belly pork was about 4 very tiny nuggets for £9 with tiny tiny minute squares of black pudding, wish I'd taken pic but phone was not connecting for that one, we decided not to do desert, overall we were a bit deflated, but the staff were nice and the decor is lovely, cosy atmosphere.
Wow! wasn’t expecting this, Hartshead Inn on the verge of re-opening to the general public after a major refurbishment has elevated itself to become the best place in the area, in All aspects. Absolutely amazing, had an incredible evening!nThe interior is stunning, the food is amazing and what makes this even better, is how special the fabulous staff make you feel the moment you walk through the door.nTo have a restaurant pub of this quality has been long overdue in Saddleworth and the surrounding area.nBig thanks to the Beth, Paige, Sam & Kaya for making the evening so memorable and to all the other members of staff working away in the background, was great to meet Megan and Craig from the corporate perspective too.nnSo looking forward to returning very soon and on a regular basis.
Last visited August 2023nnIt was rather straightforward to make the reservation via automated service on the mobile.nnOrdered a good selection of food to share, the way we like it to mix it up. The food was ok. It helped ordering a selection and sharing to mix the flavour. Having said that, there where no complaints with the food.nnIt was during a quiet period, so we had nicely positioned table near the window.
