Such a wonderful restaurant and a fabulous place to spend my birthday. We opted for the 8 course menu with paired wines. Each course was sensational but the venison tartare and grilled lobster were divine. The total cost, without additional drinks was £270 + tip. Slightly more pricey than we would normally spend but it was a special occasion. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area.
A secret treasure.. Our second time at this restaurant. Tucked away down tiny road, not somewhere that attracts passers by. However we frequently check out michelin rated restaurants and came across this. Just down the road from us its a great place to eat fantastic quality food without having to travel far. Parking can be tricky though. They offer several tasting menus but we have swapped out dishes on both occasions with no issues at all. Everything on this menu is amazing. Sadly, the owners are moving on after a very impressive 21 years, this place and their fab staff will be missed.
One of my favourite restaurants in the world. The Harrow is in the beautiful small village of Little Bedwyn and serves would class food and incredible service.
What a hidden gem. Go the 8 course and just sit back and relax. Truly amazing. My tip, arrange a ride home and enjoy sampling some of the 100's of wine on the list.
Celebrated a birthday here with the 5 course lunch menu. Spectacular. The food was faultless and the service was wonderful. Amazing wine list. The wine pairing menu that went with the lunch menu was thoroughly enjoyed by those who opted for it. Really relaxed atmosphere - unpretentious and we weren't rushed. Will be back!
Great restaurant. The only restaurant I in England I know and I've been to a few that keeps and serves wines as they should and hence they taste delicious. The food is fantastic. Simple dishes except the desserts, more elaborated but with top ingredients and a chef behind that knows what he/she is doing. I strongly recommend to go for one of the tasting menus with matching wines.
We had an absolutely splendid meal last night. It really is worth having the 8 course gourmet menu with generous matched wines. 3 hours of pleasure with knowledgeable service and delicious dishes. Fortunately our daughter was on hand to whisk us away into the night feeling very contented.
A good friend bought me a 6 course tasting menu here and it was an amazing experience. We had a great time, the welcome and atmosphere were warm and friendly which made for a great start. We were seated and given time to review the drinks menu, and the wine flight option. The food was excellent, tasty, well cooked and brilliantly balanced to the wine flight. The service all evening was excellent, unobtrusive but timely and always friendlt. I can't recommend this place enough for any occasion.
An amazing meal was had. We decided on the 8 course gourmet menu with wines to match. Perfectly combinations of food and drink for each and every course. I am genuinely struggling to decide which was my favourite course as they were all incredible. Unhurried but not lacking, subtle, attentive service. Impeccably presented, well thought out dishes. We shall absolutely be back. Keep up the good work.
Had a lovely birthday dinner here with my partner. They are very accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious and they have some lovely options. It was my first experience of a Michelin starred restaurant and it certainly didn't disappoint.
