Allyson was so helpful when I went to see her. Gorgeous shop and this shop by far has the nicest selection of dresses from any other shop I went to see. There were several dresses here I loved, and it was just a really nice experience.

It all started positive at the beginning, we were seen to efficiently at our first meeting. I knew exactly what dress I wanted and they were very accommodating and ordered the dress in for me. They knew I was a teacher and that I had recently moved out of the area (the midlands) and at the time they were prepared to fit me in when suited me best. Although when a particular member of staff rang me to arrange my first fitting, she was abrupt and stated that it was only on a Tuesday so many weeks before my wedding, this was unnecessary stress on myself and my mother. Luckily, I managed to arrange my first appointment with another member of staff in the February half term. When I arrived the seamstress and the second person who I spoke to on the phone, contradicted the first phone call I had and said I was able to have appointments that suited me. During my appointment, the seamstress was brilliant and met my every need! On my last fitting, I was 10 mins late due to traffic (typical stuck behind a tractor on A59) and was called by the previous abrupt assistant to hurry up as they were running out of time. When we arrived it was almost as if they had my money and wanted me out! I was placed into the tiny back room of the shop, bearing in mind I had a huge dress so there was no space to walk around or see how the dress flowed for the day. I wasn’t given the option to sit down to see how the dress fitted. My mum spoke to another seamstress as the original one wasn’t in the store and asked if the dress was ok and she responded “I don’t know anything about this dress, I haven’t even seen it”. There seemed there was no communication between the seamstresses. They did not leave enough time to show my mother how to put on the dress for my big down which left her anxious. To top it all off, my dress wasn’t placed in its original designer bag, they give me a chipped hanger and the bag smelt of damp! On the day, I felt that the dress was unlevel at the front which was then reflected in my wedding photos. The company pride themselves on having a great relationship with their brides but I just felt like another number.

Amazing place, felt really at ease and welcome, nothing was too much trouble, the only place I went to where I was offered a drink (small thing I know but it makes a huge difference) After a few visits and re try's I finally said yes to my dress and they opened champagne thank you so much, can't wait for 1st fit and to go back

Can not recommend this place enough! The staff are so helpful, professional and friendly! I went to quite afew bridal shops before finding my dress at the Harrogate Bridal lounge and they were miles ahead of everywhere else in everyway! That staff treat you like your wedding is the only thing they have going on but their advice shows how experienced they are. The selection of dresses is fantastic, the only place I fell in love with more than one. Even when my mum could not make an appt and I had to go on my own, they made me feel so special. It really is outstanding!
