Had a wonderful weekend.  Staff friendly and helpful.

Our room was a good size, clean and well maintained.

We had a meal on Saturday night.   The food was well presented and cooked to perfection.  There was also live music which was light listening and enjoyable.  Excellent night.

The morning breakfast was excellent.

I would highly recommend a visit.  We will definitely visit again.

Lovely place to stay and enjoy the town. Bar and staff were great. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast, really good. Our room was the only slight gripe - it was a little bit cramped and not as nice as the last time I stayed there. But frankly this place is superb. And the live music in the bar late doors was most enjoyable. Loved it.

Stayed here in February and even though they were extremely busy(Valentines night)they still managed to get us a table where we had a really good meal accompanied by live jazz.
Perhaps the word hotel should be dropped as it is not a typical hotel so if you want that go elsewhere.However what you lose in facilities you gain in charm and character.Staying here you will get a quaint and quirky experience with friendly and helpful staff.It is really well located for the town centre and isn't it nice to be trusted as a guest for a change and not to have to pay up front for your stay.We really enjoyed it only really missing the fact that there was no public lounge other than the bar area.

Good service, great food and drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Went during the day so it wasn't very busy and we were cared for perfectly.
