A commercial set up, profit before patients. We've had a terrible experience, they cancelled two appointments with two separate doctors on two separate days just hours before. They check how much money they can make out of you and which patients would be most profitable for them, these patients get prioritised and the other paying patients who have been waiting but not as profitable get cancelled and given a different date. This is as low as any medical clinic could possibly sink. This is a ruthless business can't call it anything else has very ambitious expansion plans, they use a powerful name like "The Harley Street" then they sign up one or two top consultants for a short period of time to make the setup appear better than what it is. You ring up to make an appointment with that top consultant, and they make a fake appointment for you, they then wait till the day of the appointment and ring you up to cancel it giving you a pathetic excuse, they then offer a new appointment with someone you've never heard of before. Get my drift... Praying on vulnerable and ill patients to make your profits is totally unethical and should not be allowed. Formal complaints have been logged with the ombudsman, GMC & the care and quality commission. As well as a report to Bupa.
I would highly recommend this clinic, especially Dr Proudfoot. She was helpful, knowledgeable, caring and most of all proactive. On diagnosis of Vitiligo she suggested a number of blood tests and upon receiving the results she referred me to an excellent Endrocrinologist. I was subsequently diagonosed with an autoimmune disease. Treatment and understanding of this has been life changing for me and I will be forever grateful for all of Dr Proudfoot’s help and professionalism. Without her instinct to test for other things I doubt I would ever have discovered my thyroid issue and autoimmune disease. Dr Proudfoot also saw my 2 year old son who had a constant rash on his face. Her knowledge, compassion and recommended course of treatment were all excellent. The reception staff were also always friendly and welcoming and very helpful over the phone too.
Absolutely shocking cost. Extremely rushed. I am a doctor myself so this service was baffling for the price I paid. The doctor asked minimal questions, rushed through the whole thing and wasn’t thorough. She just wanted me in and out and even when I tried to ask questions at the end the answers were limited and gave me the impression she was done after she performed my mole check. The mole check itself was rushed. The initial price of the consultation was £249. I asked for a mole check at my initial consultation. I had no idea until I went to pay that the actual mole check was not covered in that cost. I should have been told at that point what the cost of that was going to be. Charging over £500 for the service I had is absolutely crazy. Rushed, no actual patient care, basically a money making scheme which has no patience for patients. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere. You can get a mole check elsewhere for much less and most likely a better service. If you are going to provide a private service the standard should be much much higher. NHS care would have been better and I would have went via nhs if I hadn’t been so concerned about various asymmetrical moles and hence wanted to be seen asap.
The doctor I saw a couple months back Dr Richard Coelho was very hurried and spent only 5-7 mins for an expensive appointment and prescribed a cream which didn’t work. I overlooked the fact he was hurried and thought I’d give a second chance and see the same doctor again. Today I came for a follow up appointment and I changed a flight to make the appointment. Guess what? They cancelled their appointment for me with zero notice and claimed they sent an email on the 30th Aug 2022 which purported to say that I needed to pay in advance and since it was not paid the appointment was cancelled. I told them that the last time I attended I paid on the day for the first appointment so what’s changed? They said they changed their policy six months ago my first appointment was about 2 months ago so that’s not true. When I pulled up the same said email they sent me on the 30th Aug 2022 I showed them the email and it said nothing of the sort about having to prepay before an appointment. She then said sorry the wrong email has been sent to me in error. The receptionist then attempted to speak to the doctor to see if they could fit me in. The doctor said he couldn’t and didn’t care that I’d changed a flight at my expense to make the appointment. There are other better dermatology clinics in London. Avoid this one unless you want an unprofessional service and be messed around and have your time wasted.
Very impressed and grateful for the prompt attention I received from Dr Friedmann after sending photos of a deteriorating, painful condition that was baffling the GP. NHS Dermatology appt offered was not for 3 months. After sending the images we had a diagnosis and prescription organised within 48 hours. Any query we have with medication, or general admin has been answered promptly and professionally and the skin condition has improved immensely in a short time. I would not hesitate to recommend the clinic, and especially Dr Friedmann and would definitely use their services again if ever the need arose..
Firstly they were running late. Secondly, the people who were receptionists were ok and apologetic. Thirdly, it’s well overpriced. I had two moles and one skin tag to remove. The professor doctor is saw was ok. Overall a mixed experience. Fortunately, my lipoma will not be dealt with by these guys as that’s a much more dangerous and very expensive procedure. For minor things they are ok to use but are not cheap.
I saw Dr Friedmann recently for an appointment and he was so profesional and kind. I got a diagnosis and treatment same time and the whole experience was fast, efficient and comfortable with great results. I would definitely recommend.
I saw Dr Friedmann and felt he was very thorough, professional and knowledgeable. This was my second visit to see them and each time the doctor and staff have been friendly, welcoming and helpful at arranging other tests etc. for me. Nice clean facilities and they've always kept to time with appointments. I have never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend this clinic.
Not a great place to be honest -- went in for an appointment, all seemed well, quick diagnosis. But when the treatment didn't work I went for a second opinion with an NHS doctor, was told something completely different. To add to that it took me 6 weeks of emailing and phone calls before they would send me my diagnosis from Harley Street. Unresponsive to the point where until I'd threatened them with action did they release my own medical information to me. Avoid.
Fantastic service! I recently saw Dr Friedmann to have a mole removed. He and his team were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They made me feel at ease throughout the whole procedure. I would definitely recommend to others.
