Fantastic setup in a small unit on the trading estate. Working out of a food trailer, the team produces fantastic, fresh food to order, from breakfast to gourmet burgers and everything in between. There was a steady flow of customers from surrounding units while we were there, keeping the guys busy. We ate the Hangry breakfast and the triple stack. Both were very nice and served for takeaway, but cutlery is available for you to eat in, at the numerous tables inside the unit. Breakfasts come with free coffee. We will be back to try the burgers. Thanks, guys.
Once again a superb meal here. We live in Castle Bromwich and regularly travel here to enjoy a burger because nothing compares on our side of the city. This is the first time we have been since Clucking Hangry opened on the same site, and it did not disappoint. The shawarma on a kebab was delicious, and my burger was the best burger I've had in a very long time.nnHonestly I'd give this gaff more than 5 stars if I could, it's burger heaven
A good proper bostin burger. Very tasty, extremely fresh, all cooked fresh to order. Excellent value and great portions.nSo much choice on the both menus, spoilt for choice.nTried the Hangry Tyson Burger doubled up absolutely spot on and hit the spot.nWould highly recommend to anyone who loves food as this is a much healthier option than fast food outlets.
My friends and I visited Herbert’s Yard last night, excited to try the popular Hangry Moose Burgers. We arrived to find the place buzzing with activity, with eight different food vendors and the Hangry Moose having one of the biggest queues. Despite the rainy weather, we queued up and didn't mind too much as we were excited for the food.nnWe waited patiently for 20-25 minutes to place our order, and then an additional 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Although we appreciated that the restaurant was busy, the wait was quite long. When our food finally arrived, we were excited to dig in. We had ordered the 2 x DBS burger one being a double and the Tyson burger between the three of us. The presentation looked great, and we sat down immediately to eat. However, we were disappointed to find that the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. While the burger was warm, it was not hot, and the curly fries were cold.nnWe spent £42 on food and waited a total of 45 minutes for our order, only to be served food that was basically cold. If we knew what the food was going to be like, we would have eaten at one of the other vendors, as we also had food from the fried chicken, pizza, and East Asian street food vendors, and they were all great. We debated going back to say something, but as we had already waited so long, we decided not to. There were a few reasons for this; there were so many people standing around the Hangry Moose, waiting for their food, if we had complained, it would have reflected badly on us. If we had requested fresh fries, it would have caused further delay, and the burgers would have gotten even colder.nnWe had heard so many good things about the Hangry Moose, and the long queue was a reflection of how popular it was. However, we were disappointed that the food didn't live up to the hype. It's a shame that we had to wait so long for our food only to be let down by the quality. Despite this, we understand that food can be subjective, and others may have a different experience.nnWe feel that if we had gone at a quieter time, maybe the food they were making would have been of higher quality. This is just an assumption, and we may have caught them on a bad day. We hope that the restaurant can take our feedback into consideration and work on improving the quality of their food, especially during peak hours when the restaurant is at its busiest.nnOverall, we were hoping for more from the Hangry Moose Burgers and fries, and unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed.nnNot all of the pictures were not taken by us and are not ours, they are taken from social media pages belonging to the vendors and their partners and were the reason for us trying their food.nn***Update***: Since visiting Herbert’s Yard, I've been to Hangry Moose in Bromsgrove several times, and each visit has been great. The food quality has been consistently good, making it a more enjoyable experience overall.
Disappointed: I've been patiently waiting to visit Hangry Moose for well over a year.nSo as it was my Son's Birthday we decided to undertake the 70 minute round trip tonight Wednesday 17th April 24 7:35 to finally experience these amazing burgers.nnUnfortunately our excitement was immediately dampened, as due to short staffing issues there were no Chicken Tenders, no Kebabs or any Sides on offer apart from House Fries!nnSo we just had Burgers & Fries!nnAfter watching the 'Food Review Club' videos I was really looking forward to trying the '9Seven' I even added an extra patty and although there wasn't anything wrong with the Burger it just didn't hit the spot.nThe flavour seemed to be lacking especially when it came to the Onion Relish & Baconaise...it even looked a little messy see photo. My Son also had a 9Seven and completely agreed with me. My wife had the MapleMoose and commented that it needed more sauce.nnI'm in my 50's and have been eating Burgers for many years now and was hoping this was going to be 'The One'..... Unfortunately my search continues!nnUPDATE to Owners Response: I can't believe your comments to myself and especially my son are so unnecessarily aggressive, especially as we haven't actually said anything bad about your food. We were just disappointed by your obvious lack of management skills and the forethought to organise enough staff to run your business properly and also to inform potential customers on your Facebook page about the reduced menu.nnI believe they call you 'Big Dave'... maybe you should re-arrange those letters and change your name to 'Give Bad'...just like your customer service !
