Very cute decor! The staff were very kind and welcoming. Food was very different and of course good! We tried coconut pancake stack with berries and smashing avocado on toast. The latter had an amazing seasoning.
One of the best breakfast I’ve ever had - so much taste - and amazing value!!! Big list of bloody Mary’s too! Great service too! Better than most brunches in London! Coming again!
This is one of my favourite and regular spots for coffee and cake in Oxford. My last visit was a few days ago, in the middle of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Despite these non-ideal circumstances, the staff were extremely friendly and cordial. The coffee was made promptly and to a high standard.
I am so happy I stopped by the Handle Bar today! I've always had a wonderful time each time I visited. They are now doing takeaway, so I ordered an avocado toast and a latte. Both are delicious! And the staff are always so friendly and pleasant to chat with. I would highly recommend the Handle Bar to anyone. :
While the food was good, the service was disappointingly poor. We received a very cold reception on entering the cafe. The vibe and staff were generally very unfriendly. This behaviour seemed to be reserved only for myself and my colleague...
Was quite busy but we had booked so wasn't too long to wait. Had a delicious brunch of poached eggs and avocado. Coffee was also great.
