I enjoy my food from here. I tend to get cod and fish when i come but on two occasions ive been served fish instead of cod the first time they changed it and you could clearly see the difference..how ever on the second occasions i found the staff members very rude with attitude when explaining to her that it wasn't a cod on my plate..

I live Liverpool and meet with my family that live local, Go Hadden Hall often and always lovely chilled atmosphere and food is gorgeous and quick service too. Were looking forward to going there for lunch again 8/03/18 😉

First  time dining at The Haddon Hall Hotel Booked a table in advance online straight forward and received an email of confirmation.
Arrived at a the pub, look very nice from the outside . Going straight the bar i waited 10 minutes at the bar before the staff would even acknowledge me. Finally I spoke to a member of staff and mentioned that i had booked a table for  7.00pm. They mentioned that there was no booking and that i was mistaken to which I showed them the confirmation email, double checking their books someone has wrote it down wrong in the bookings. so had to wait longer for a table. no apology from the staff or smiles nothing.
Once seated,  i looked around and the wall paper was ripped off and there was some baby highchairs trying to hide it but it was too big.
 The menu had some good choices, but when ordering the food  we found out the we couldn't have the items that we ordered. and that it was going to 1hr for our food, still we decided to stay, walking back to my table where my family were waiting there were glass smashed all over my chair , coat in my bag,table and on the floor, as staff member had smashed it accidentally, the glass cleaned up poorly, i had to remove the glass from off my own chair and coat and there was still glass near my feet and there were children playing. the food arrived was ok for the price, but nobody asked if we were ok. A upon leaving we still didn't get a bye, sorry or nothing. 
Not a good first impression, seemed like they are more interested
 in serving cheap alcohol than food. Customer services need to be improved.

Kids meal came out 15 mins before everyone elses ordered messy Mexican chilli it came with no chilli had to send it back. Mixed grill came out minus items then was resent out cold . Was sent out again without the cheesy chips all family ended up eating separately ruined the family meal
