We popped into this pub for a swift pint but ended up having a great evening. We were entertained firstly by a solo musician and then by a duet who all had the pub singing along. The staff worked really hard and we were never short of a drink.
Have had a good experience previously in this pub. However the bloke working behind the bar yesterday with long hair and a nose piercing is doing this pub a disservice. Telling customers your life story while there is 6 people waiting is not the best way of doing business. It took almost 15 minutes to finally get our pints because this long haired princess continued to tell his entire life story to a couple of disinterested people sitting at the bar.
I was here just about everyday of trip great little pub, Shawn and Bobby are great guys. Thanks for making me feel welcome. Hope to see yall again...
Great pub realy good beer and good peoplesFood: 4/5
Owner and other staff were fantastic, great place for a pintService: 5/5
Friendly and professional staff. Pub in not overcrowded, easy to get a seat. Live music during the evenings.Food: 4/5
Amazing bar, amazing staff. The bar team were extremely knowledgeable, when it come to the whiskey they had to offer. There was an extensive range too, with tons of history. The whiskey ranges from around €9 to about €100. The bar team weren't pushy at all. They could ask a few questions and pair you with your new favourite whiskey in no time, without it costing the earth. I had tried a few whiskey's during our visit but absolutely fell in love with their recommendations. If your planning on visiting Temple BAR, Dublin then please visit the 'Ha'Penny Bridge' Inn,even if it's just a quick pint and a chat about the weather. These guys have to be the most wonderful bar team in Dublin, if not Ireland!
Best Irish Coffee, Guiness and atmosphere in Dublin. Sean and his guys treat you right. The music upstairs is an unforgettable experience. We bookended our trip to Ireland with stops in Dublin and spent two nights here.Service: 5/5
From the outside I almost dismissed going in to this pub but from the moment I went in the staff and the customers were all so friendly. I had my very first Guinness here which certainly wasn't my last either. We started our night here before walking along the river and ending back here, but upstairs, watching a live fiddle and guitar act. My girlfriend and I were singing out loud and dancing in our seat experiencing one of the most memorable experiences of Dublin. If I ever visit Dublin again this will be one of my first stops.
Authentic Irish pub right across from the Ha'penny Bridge. Met a lot of great locals in here. No frills. Great live music.
