Called ahead seeking helping with my guitar they were very friendly and said were happy to help at which point I went there and straight away was helped with no delays. Jamie was able to fix my guitar very easily and quickly as well replacing the battery free of charge for me! Great service thank you!
Outstanding set up and fretwork done at a fair and reasonable price. Came out exponentially better than I expected given the nature of the guitar a custom Gibson Explorer replica in a silly colour. I’ve had many set ups on many guitars by many “techs” but this was unusually high standard. Plays beautifully. Thank you Jamie!
This shop has one of the most innovative and creative storefront displays for any type of shop, but especially for a guitar shop. It’s such a great replica of a fender amplifier right down to the finer details. And even better when the store is closed because the roller shutters pull down to mimic almost exactly the famous Fender grille cloth to complete the image of a huge guitar amplifier. The large adjustment knobs go all the way up to 11, in a clever reference to the spinal tap movie… “because it’s louder”. Jamie the store owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable and he has an extensive range of guitars, accessories and more, for a smalltown shop. Well worth searching this place out.
Bought an Ibanez Jem Junior Shocking Pink from here using their online store as they offered Klarna, and it was quickly dispatched, very well packaged and in tune straight out of the box! Really great!
Absolutely fantastic store, staff were amazing. They show you how to use the instruments, and even go above and beyond to deliver things directly to you. Fantastic job from Jamie and Charlie I think I got those names right ;
consistently great experiences here over the past 25 years - both for new guitars and repairs to my older guitars. Latest news? A Squier Telecaster 50s spec which was great off the shelf but even better once Jamie had done the free after sales set up. Great equipment, great service

Went in here on a Southampton trip today with no intention of buying anything, let alone a pricey guitar, just fancied a look as the Isle Of Wight is incredibly disappointing with it's lack of music stores... £240 later and I'm the happiest I've ever been with a guitar purchase. Absolutely brilliant collection of instruments, and the staff are impeccable. The young staff members were friendly and offered straight away for me to play the guitar of my choosing, and the man who served us went beyond out of his way to make sure the guitar was safe to travel home in the poor weather after tolerating my massive indecisiveness over whether or not I should actually buy the guitar. Overall I'm incredibly satisfied with my purchase, will come here every time I'm in Southampton and will 100% recommend anyone else to pop in as well.
Wasn't in for long, but the staff were very helpful. I'm an absolute beginner at 60, but I see you guys are passionate. When I feel I'm good enough and have decided if I want to be a Blackmore or Vai, I'll come here for something a little more tasty than the cheapy I alreay have. Cheers guys.
