Went in for food at the bar, and we really enjoyed it!!! The food was simple but delicious and we will 100% be going back. The waitress was also very knowledgeable with information regarding what could be eaten by a celiac in our group.nnIt also had an amazing country pub feel that felt so welcoming and cozy x
Called here on our return journey home, and was really impressed. We sat in the Courtyard area for our food, which was nice and relaxing. It was certainly a relaxing environment, I wasn’t too sure about the DJ, but in the end listening to the music being mixed, I was impressed and we enjoyed our time.
Came here for a meeting post a wedding the day before. This is a beautiful looking hotel right in the centre of town, wonderfully situated. I would like to stay here to see what the rooms and service are like.
Only went in for a roast on a Sunday. Staff lovely food lovely sat in courtyard just nice and relaxing. Price not bad but I’m 58 do all seems expensive to me looks small portions but so good I left well full thanks grosvenor arms Pleasant visit ps I’m one of the builders working on the old bank across the road
Went for food on a Saturday - the staff were friendly but they were very busy, had a sense of the business trying to keep its staff costs down. The food is very over priced for what it was. We paid £13.50 for a 'Club Sandwich'... What arrived can only be described as rubbish. The bread was dry, very stingy on the bacon, the salad was just dumped in it. The chips tasted like the oil needed changing. You need to up your game if you're going to charge this amount of money for a sandwich that costs this amount of money. Avoid.
