I had my hair cut from being very long to very short and I was worried it wouldn't turn out how I like it, but the end result was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Very highly skilled hair stylists who clearly know exactly what they're doing - most impressive - I would definitely recommend The Groom Room, no matter what sort of look you're going for.

I brought my 11 year old son here for a haircut recently. Before the haircut his hair had grown really long and thick and it was in desperate need of cutting before school. When he was called up I asked the barber to give him a good short haircut. The barber then took the clippers and without hesitation began shaving the back and sides of his hair. Once this was completed he sprayed water over the top of his hair and he used the scissors to cut his long bangs short and to thin out his thick hair. To finish the cut he took the clippers and shaved all of the small sprouting hairs off the neck before applying some gel to the top. Overall this was a great efficient haircut. It was great that the barber managed to get a hairstyle that my son liked and that was short enough and smart enough for my liking. My son has also had loads of compliments about his haircut.

I just had an Oliplex conditioning treatment on my VERY curly hair. I am amazed at the shine and can't stop tilting my head in the mirror admiring it :) I also had a lovely time at The Groom Room with the lovely team and with parking outside, too easy! Thank you Bex xx

A contemporary Barbershop based in Wellingborough. They offer all the frills and service you would expect from a superior men's salon, but with a focus on an informal atmosphere. Haircuts are classic, creative or modern,cut with precision by highly accomplished specialist. I also bring my 5 year old son, who used to hate getting his hair cut, since going to the groom room, he's more than happy to sit in a chair all by himself, all thanks to the team here. They are fantastic at there job, but my personal favourite is Yasmin.
