Be warned: the portions are quite generous! We went on a Saturday evening and although their car park was full, we parked on the street in front of the entrance and found a table easily as their bigger room leading to the back garden was empty. The service was quick and very friendly as their prices considering portion sizes.
Visited today with my family of 9 and had a wonderful meal! Service was friendly and prompt, food came out quickly, and the roast was huge! Couldn't fault any of it and was very impressed with the quality of the food. Roast had 4 roast potatoes, lots of meat, Yorkshire puds was light crisp ans freshly cooked and veg and cauliflower cheese was delicious!! Highly recommend here and we will definitely return.
Absolutely beautiful food of massive proportion excellent value a lovely pub in the middle of nowhere with a big quiet garden the staff are really friendly and helpful can't complain about anything will definitely be going back also really enjoyed the real ale from down the road at tring please go and support this lovely local pub
Great pub and always wanted to try their food…had a cheeky belly buster burger and was not disappointed, the quality of the meat was excellent and lean so managed to eat devour it without the bun collapsing!! On a hot Sunday in July, I enjoyed a delicious fish and chips. A generous portion. We could order drinks from the bar and found a shaded spot in the garden. All the staff I spoke with were friendly. Food coming out looked brilliant.

First ever visit and really impressed. Busy venue so recommend booking. Really accommodating, food superb, wine superb, staff superb. Burgers both steak and chicken burgers are awesome. Fishcakes with sweet & sour sauce and mash excellent. We're from Sywell but will return whenever possible. Sad we were rushed and couldn't relax and spend more time here.
