Lovely place with a great ambiance. The staff are more than helpful with a great sense of humour. Both the drinks and food menu are also really good. A place we love to visit. Can't recommend enough.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Food, including breakfast was lovely. My only put down was the quality of the 8oz rib eye steak. Beautifully cooked but just a mass of fat and gristle. Should have gone for the crispy suet crust steak pie which looked and smelled gordeous.
Beautiful setting, food was lovely, great atmosphere. Dog friendly FYI. If I had one improvement it would be to put more toppings on your pizzas other than that, thank you for a lovely night
An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Good location and an excellent hotel stay. Attention to detail and customer service is limitless. We’d thoroughly recommend it.
Couldn't park in Matlock Bath but fortunately stumbled on this beautiful place. Lovely surroundings, attentive staff and great service. Beer was excellent. Might be tempted to treat the wife to a night out and try the accommodation.
Seemed like a nice pub well organised for social distancing and with a pleasant outside seating area in a marquee, although somewhat affected by heavy traffic going by. The reason only 4 stars and not 5 is that we were hoping to try some food but they had stopped serving for the afternoon so can't comment on this aspect.
