We visited the Green Dragon several times as we walked the hills nearby. The land lady was very welcoming .. we enjoyed our time there. Especially the roaring fire on a wet cold day. Food wasn't yet available kitchen being worked on but it will be awesome with food as well

We visited on the 11th April after visiting the Hardraw Falls. We found it a lovely welcoming pub, a historic gem and well worth a visit. We only called in for a quick drink but ended up talking to a lovely American couple.

£4 to see a waterfall. Great, thanks for capitalising on nature! Whoever owned it before knew what they were doing. It used to have a campsite, great facilities. Fire roaring. Now it’s just a small cranky place of depression with socially awkward staff that don’t know how to communicate. Massive let down.Rooms: 1/5

The pub is in the process of renovation but if you like a quirky pub it's well worth a visit. I understand the pub has just been taken over by the owner of The Tan Hill so, hopefully good things to come. Walkability: On the Penine Way
It is the best pub hotel in the UK under reconstruction at the moment. Had good meal and drink. Looks good for the future.Service: 5/5
Halfway point on a circular walk from Hawes. Opened the door to a packed and buzzing atmosphere, 2 real fires roaring away to take the damp winter chill off. Found a cosy corner and we both enjoyed a pint of Theakstons Old Peculier. Fantastic!Service: 5/5
