Stopped by for food yesterday evening and came back for lunch today as food was great. All home cooked. Amazing choice. Kids food was also very good actual fish in fish fingers and chicken breast in goujons etc Great value for money. Only few minutes from Holiday Inn Express to head to Harry Potter World.
Nice little place, our booking was nowhere to be found, but staff were very helpful and was all sorted out. Lovely roast dinner with full selection of vegetables. Normally do the dog sitting swap at Sth Mimms, will go here in future. Could be busy in the summer I guess, due to locationFood: 5/5
Came with my cycle group Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. As a vegan, it's not always easy to find a meal but the Vegan Nut Rost Dinner was fabulous. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Called in on a Monday evening 20:10 as I was staying in the area and didn't want to eat the preheated food on offer. Walked in, and the place was empty. The bartender asked how he could help. I asked about food. "Sorry, the kitchen is closed on a Monday night" OK! Walked outside. The A board told a different story. I walked further on and had a lovely Indian meal.
Great food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.. tucked away in a quiet area with a nice walking place complete with river.. Reasonable prices and a great sunday roast carvery too. I've loved every visit to the place!

Under new management, staff are friendly currently serving a temporary menu open until 9 due to current restrictions, support your local pubs Disappointed booked table for six bank holiday Monday for my birthday. Arrived at one as planned and found it to be closed without prior notification
Nice little pub, good food and friendly staff.
Normally a summer pub for me by the river but what a lovely warm atmosphere in the winter! All decked out in festive attire. Great pub, great food.
