Beautiful hotel with very well observed social distancing. Sanitiser freely available all around the building. Tremendous breakfast and lovely comfortable room.
Such a beautiful place. Right on the seafront and the rooms are always beautifully presented. Food is incredible too
Had a lovely afternoon tea with hubby for our anniversary. Staff were so attentive and the Hotel was very covid safe. The food was very fresh. We ended up taking quite a bit home in a box provided by the staff.
One of the best placed hotels I've ever stayed at! Out the front door and your practically on the beach. Lovely staff, great breakfasts and good food. Very traditional rooms, hotel has some real character especially the stairs! A must stay if you want to visit Tynemouth.
A couple of drinkies and a sourdough pizza to ahare in Copperfields in the Grand Hotel. Fab pizza! Have always loved this bar. Staff very helpful, all social distancing rules in place and followed. A cheeky Saturday treat whilst out for a walk along the coast
We attended for a wake after a funeral. The room looked beautiful and social distancing was applied. The food and service were both excellent.
Very smart hotel, full of history and character with a magnificent sweeping staircase. The Brasserie restaurant was Excellent. We had lamb shank which fell off the bone and apple tarte tatin also lovely. Breakfasts were also very Good.
Excellent pity the area is still different due to covid
