We visited the restaurant for lunch. We all ate the kofkas which were excellent. The portions were very generous and we all had to leave some food on our plates as we were full up. We all have hearty appetites I might add! We love the refurbished restaurant, the decor was lovely, as were the staff. Highly recommended. Best to book as the restaurant was full.

We stayed over for one night last Saturday 27/5/23 and will 100% be staying again. The staff were super friendly and nothing to much trouble. The evening meal was super delicious and the breakfast was just the same with plenty of variety the chef definitely knows what he/she is doing. The rooms were pristine and it was the first time I've ever slept through when in a different bed. We brought our family to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday and could certainly not have made a better choice. Many thanks to Lauren, Bryony and all their lovely staff who all went out of their way to welcome us and see that everything was perfect. The rooms were outstanding and the food glorious. Thank you and congratulations to the chef and his kitchen staff. The setting of this hotel and the farm animals were a delight, the tiny new-born lambs and piglets being a highlight for us all, particularly our grand- children. An unforgettable weekend and we highly recommend the Grainary to all who appreciate a top class hotel, perfect in every way. Vegetarian options: Superb Parking: Excellent. Plenty of room.
Booked breakfast this morning, it was first class, we decided on a full English with a coffee. The food was delicious and hot, I couldn't ask for a better breakfast. The only negative comment, I would have liked a second coffee, but after the initial service, there was no one around to ask, this did not spoil my breakfast, but if someone had asked if everything was alright, I would have asked for a second coffee. We walked around after breakfast to see all the farm animals, cute. This will not stop me giving a 5 Star review, brilliant.
We made a reservation for Sunday lunch and weren't sure what to expect. We were not disappointed, the food arrived, and OMG, the Yorkshire pudding was a feature!! Everything tasted delicious the only thing I could say is that I shouldn't have had breakfast, there wasn't a shortage of anything. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, we shall certainly be going back again soon.
What a gem of a place. The Staff were fantastic from the moment we stepped through the door - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was perfect with beautiful views from our window seat. The food was amazing with plenty of choice and the bar area is so cosy, also with great views. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
We stayed in one of the cottages, it was spacious and very clean, perfect for coming back to after a long day out with the children. We ate at the restaurant the food was excellent.Rooms: 5/5
