Another great lunch at the home of good vegetarian food in Leicester. I had Broccoli and Stilton soup for starters and it was divine. Sweet chilli pasta bake with salad was superb. The cornflake pie was a bit too sweet for my liking. Great service as always. Will be returning very soonFood: 4/5

Fantastic place to get a hearty, hot and fresh out of the oven vegetarian meal in a cosy setting.  Vegetarian options: The restaurant is vegetarian.

I've been coming here for over 35 years!! It's one of Leicester's greatest little institutions, great then and great now. Good wholesale vegetarian and vegan food and their help-yourself salad is always fresh and delicious.  It's such a shame they've stopped doing their fruit crumbles. Bring it back!!! Once you discover this hidden gem you will always come back again and again.

Excellent experience for the four of us who dined at The Good Earth. Quiet and atmospheric; a good place to relax, chat and enjoy good food and drinks at reasonable prices.  Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian mains and with some being completely vegan and same for deserts. The vegan carrot cake is delicious. For our lunch we  had lentil and carrot cottage pie, Beanie Bake and spinach and lemon pasta. All delicious and homemade. Mostly daytime opening times and not evenings but check on their website for latest details.  Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options for main meals,  vegan options for some deserts like a Rockie Road slice.

One of the best places to eat in Leicester, always full of flavour and such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend enough! PS The Stilton bake is dangerously goodFood: 5/5

Love the good earth! Staff are lovely and helpful, and food is delicious, with large portions! A pretty unique setting in Leicester, and some great options. Would highly recommend.

The fact that this place has been going since 1965 says it all. Traditional home cooked style vegetarian and vegan dishes such as bakes, roasts and casseroles. Fantastic salad bar selection and plenty of cake choices. A Leicester institution.Food: 5/5
