Great pub, owners can't do enough for you. We went in on a very cold day and the fires were in full blaze which was very welcoming. We had the rag pudding which was incredible, big chunks of meat and veg. The suet pastey is to die for, plenty of gravy served with either  chunky chips or mash and peas. All home made, the best rag pudding ive had since my Mum used to make years ago. Also plenty of it, not for a small appetite. Will be back for another day out

Food is ok, beer selection ok, has beautiful roaring open fires in winter.

Really lovely pub with loads of character, lovely staff, pet friendly, and good ales on tap. Came in for a few pints in the evening and really enjoyed being here- great atmosphere!

Popped in for a couple of pints on their fantastic jazz night just before Christmas. Beer is very good, but the music is the obvious draw. Think they do a few things through the week too.
