Always a pleasure to eat here. Plenty of tables and chairs, inside and outside. Excellent fast service. Great prices that can't be beaten on drinks & food. Never disappointed.
I visited The Golden Beam in Leeds last weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! The pub, set in a beautifully converted former church, has a unique and spacious atmosphere with high ceilings and stained glass windows that give it character. The drinks and snacks were affordable and tasty, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed spot to hang out with friends or a lively place for a casual drink, The Golden Beam is definitely worth a visit.
Good spoons. Visited on a Sunday so it wasn't too busy - plenty of seats and food was quick. Very open, still retains character of the former building it once was, whatever that was. Repurposed fireplace made from an old organ was a nice feature, and nice radiators too. Wouldn't rush to go back as it's out of the way but certainly wouldn't be opposed to it.
Amazing pub! The food was very tasty. The service is good . Jake de sancho is a great manager his team on Saturday night did an excellent job. Serving customers quickly , all staff were polite and friendly.nnReally good to meet friends for a drink or take the family for a meal.
I will never go into this place after reading all the bad reviews about it on here. I have tried other wetherspoons over the years though, and sadly I have to say that I've experienced the same sort of thing the reviewers here are describing about this place. General rudeness from staff etcetera...nNot for me I'm afraid.nSo you see Wetherspoons, Google reviews DO make a difference and perhaps it's time you upped your game?
