Nice comfort place for lunch. The WiFi was free and fast.nLovely and clean except for a nasty mess under the hand drier in the gents.nThe food was ok. My gammon steak was pretty small and tough. I had assumed it would come with peas. Never assume.n
Amazing steak and Sunday roast!! Missing Yorkshire pudding but everything else made up for it! Unluckily didn't get to try the scallops but I am sure it would taste amazing! Thank you for the meal!
Shame , had we been informed earlier about cash only , we would have spend more money on food and drinks . My phone was ringing while driving to the venue . A bit late then . On arrival we were told sorry we have just taken over so cash only ! I went across to Sainsburys to do a cash back only £30 allowed . Between us we had less then £50 . So good choose was limited and drinks. Dominic and the young lady were polite and helpful . No compensation offered a free drink or coffee for the inconvenience not a great start to opening a pub/restaurant !
Fabulous Sunday lunch at the Goldcroft Inn, very well cooked, had the lamb with mint sauce and the usual suspects, veg etc.nnThe food was delicious, cooked perfectly and very well presented.nnThe staff were very helpful and friendly, from the moment we walked in they were very welcoming with super service, the food was served really quick and the staff always passed by to ask if we needed anything.nnThe crumble pudding with custard was amazing, very tasty and warm. Also the coffee / decaf was really nice, overall we had a fantastic experience.
We had two Full Monty roast dinners; beef, lamb, pork and chicken with a huge Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. It was absolutely stunning! Can't wait to move here and make it a regular treat.
