Wine took ten minutes to come, food was good but overpriced for what it was, portion size of the linguine would have sated my 8 year old , had to move table due very loud very rude patrons that were not challenged by staff even after the issue was raised. All in all I would highly recommend the Goffs Oak to someone I really don't like. A frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Unbelievable , quiet place , asked for a table even though 10/15 free said was full, so I booked one online , came back in and the waitress messed around asking my name three times , left spoke with manageress she was incredibly rude, not as rude as the clown barman that was more interested in his phone but rude all the same. Rather die than visit this establishment again. Toilets were a disgrace to boot. AVOID

Went here for our anniversary meal and really enjoyed the service, food and drink. Would highly recommend if u want somewhere a bit nicer than your average pub and are willing to pay a bit more for the experience.

Have eaten here a few times the service has really gone downhill, arrived at 16:00 for mother’s day early dinner, was seated late (which is understandable). Service was excruciatingly slow it took 3 hours to get through 3 courses, in that time the various people who were waiting on our table only managed to come along and take 2 drink orders, final order didn’t arrive after 30 minutes but was included on our bill. Ordered two starters with a slight change they arrived missing a menu item, they were taken back and the substitution offered by our first waiter had been removed despite the only ask being that the missing menu item was added. Our meal only ended when I got up to pay so we could finally leave, wasn’t in a hurry but I did have my 3 year old with me and didn’t fancy making this a 4 hour ordeal. As a side note a tip to staff would be clear the tables that are seated and have had empty plates infront of them for an hour before clearing the empty tables.

Food and service are brilliant. However, my daughter had been sent a voucher for 1/3rd off for the month of January, but when we tried to use it on January 31st we were told that it was no longer valid. If we had known we may have chosen differently.
