Wonderful meal and service here yesterday. The food is really good quality. It's effectively pub food but done to a very high standard. Portions are generous so go there hungry! Lovely setting as well. Thanks.
Went in today for lunch with my sister who was here from London. Our lunch was amazing. The belly of pork was cooked to perfection. The service is excellent and the staff are all lovely especially Debbie. It is spotlessly clean and decorated very tastefully. We really like this place and will be back soon.
Best pub roast I’ve ever had! I’m not a massive fan of having a roast out, however the Globes roast was just fantastic. Everything was fresh and you can tell their chefs take great pride in what they do! Also with the option to have “pub classic” style dishes so not everyone has to have a roast which is unusual but always a great idea! We left feeling incredibly full and incredibly impressed with all aspects! Food was great but the staff were also just fantastic and so attentive. Although about 40 minutes from where we live we will definitely be going again. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a high quality pub meal!! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Excellent venue! We stayed for one night on 26 November, arriving just after the kitchen closed. The team were delightful in finding us a quick table for two courses while wrapping up service. Food was excellent - great flavours, big portions, high quality. The bar has a generous range of options. Our room was comfortable and clean, perfect for our stay. Thanks to all at The Globe.
Delicious food that was enjoyed on the way home from a day mountain biking. Service was terrific, very friendly, and we were well looked after - nice to see servers who had a warm smile and enjoying themselves. It's worth knowing there is parking out front if you have bikes on the car.Service: 5/5
Fantastic time at the Globe! We came to stay in the area for the weekend, and ended up returning to the Globe every day. Very welcoming staff, lovely pub done very nicely inside. Very lively and friendly. And all topped off by an excellent roast dinner! Thanks!
Another lovely meal at the globe last night. After I messed up the booking forgetting to add one person on, this was no problem and they were happy to accommodate us. We preordered our food as there was 11 of us. We also have some fussy members in our group, nothing was to much and they catered for all our needs. The staff were amazing and never stop smiling, always happy to help and nothing is too much for them. Lovely evening enjoyed by us all. Thank you we will be back again
We had a fabulous family meal here last night with a table of 22! Everything was spot on - the food delicious, the staff were lovely and service excellent. Highly recommend, we’ll certainly be back there again soon!
Good menu. Food well cooked and well presented. When it was time to leave it took far too long to get our bill and to pay. Ten minutes of trying to attract attention to get our bill. Then they did not rush to take our payment despite having lots of staff on duty.Service: 5/5
We came in for Sunday lunch as a table of 20, the service was quick and not a single complaint! The food was incredible as always and staff extremely friendly! I would definitely recommend to visit here! We will look forward to coming again very soon
