Nice big garden and play thing. 
Real fire in winter. 
Lunch was pretty bad when we went in summer 2017 but maybe they were having a bad day since other reviews seem to have liked it.

Lovely place and great atmosphere. The food is amazing. Highly recommend trying the duck.

I was visiting my family and we came here for our lunch. What a lovely restaurant/pub! I ordered the Steak & Ale Pie it was very tasty, only comment I would make, I would of loved more gravy, we did have a check back but I had nearly eaten all the pie by this time. We were all so full we couldn't manage a dessert!

Gammon was moist and tasty and home cooked chips topped it off. A massive portion as well.

Lovely cosy traditional country pub in a quiet area. Great for family outings thanks to the outdoor play area and beer garden. Food is excellent too. And all walkers are welcome!
