These biscuits are wonderful for years we have been trying to get what we call the old original gingerbread biscuits and YES we have found them in this product. They have transported us back to our childhood growing up in our home town of Boston. They are so easy to order a very quick delivery and a reasonable price. The presentation from this family run business is wonderful. Can certainly recommend and without doubt will be ordering again.
Gingerbread biscuits arrived well packaged, in mint condition, as described and in quick time. Biscuits are light both in colour and texture with a mild taste of ginger. Warning this product is very, very moreish
I purchased a box of 10 Hawkens Gingerbread Packs and gave them to friends and family. They all enjoyed the biscuits and some once they had the first one, they couldn't stopped eating them till the pack was finished.
Hawkens Gingerbread is the BEST gingerbread I have ever tasted. The chocolate orange men are my favourite and my daughter loves the original menas you can see from the photo. This business is definitely one of Grantham's treasures! If you haven't tried it, you need to.
Absolutely delicious gingerbread. Their chocolate gingerbread man is my favourite, but all the flavours are a treat. We were thinking about giving these as wedding favours, but COVID came and changed our plans. HOWEVER, we keep getting them as their flavour is so unique. If you want something special and delicious, do not hesitate to buy from them. The owners are also amazing people and have brought to live a traditional 1740's recipe.
The chocolate orange gingerbread is lovely, first time I've ever placed an order and definitely will again. My items arrived quickly and well packaged, I couldn't really taste the ginger in the original gingerbread but it may just be a bit subtle for me as my father could but very nice all the same.
I received my order yesterday. When I opened the parcel the delicious aroma hit me. We tried the Gingerbread men today. These are definitely for grownups. The kids can wait.
I wish I could share the Grantham gingerbread with the world! In these tough times this is just what we need to put a smile on our faces and I know our tummies will be smiling too! We first tried the Grantham Gingerbread at one of the Heritage sites in the UK, we've never tasted anything like it! It melts in the mouth and so extremely satisfying!
