Pretty noisy boisterous groups of lads in the covered patio out front, but the interior was quiet if not a bit hot on a summer afternoon.nBeer selection is limited but service is friendly and the Pakistani food upstairs is outstanding and they bring it to your table after you order.
In the literal middle of the Cotswolds, is a pub run by a Londoner who's a proper publican, with a family run Palestinian kitchen serving what can only be described as the most colourful and tasty food I've eaten in a long time.nnThe menu, is only a handful of dishes but you know that means it's all fresh as it can come. And fresh it really is.nnThough there were only two of us we, ordered 3 mains just to try the delights on offer.nnMujaddara is something new, a ricey, nuttle flavour bomb, that you can guarantee has been passed down to the chef from his mother. It has such a home cooked feel.nnThe shawrmer was stunning as was all the falafel and the sweet treats of Baklawa.nnAll when the most expensive thing on the menu is 14 quid.nnOur food came to 45 quid, for 3 mains a side salad and Baklawa!nnProper food by proper people.
Love the purity of this pub, sitting outside with my friend in the sunshine will always be a memory I will treasure. And the uley beer is one of my favourites. Some pubs are special, this for me is one.
Our first time experiencing the Palestinian food at the George Inn and what an absolute delight! Beautifully cooked With exquisite flavours We will definitely be back again soon.
