Visited on Sunday.nBooked in advance - the place is popular and was very busy.nAtmosphere was great. Good vibes and the décor is wild and energetic.nServices was kind and friendly but at time struggled with the busy load.nFood was good. We tried all variations of the Sunday roast and the 6 in our group were all happy with their choice.nBaby changing facility was lacking please sort it.nnSweet.
Very solid pub, with a nice vibe/decor and good choice of drinks. Sadly though, the roast wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The veg and gravy were OK, but the meat was slightly chewy and the Yorkshire pudding was cold dry and almost inedible. Shame really as it looked appealing visually
We had an unforgettable afternoon at this pub in Margate! The roast dinner was absolutely incredible—tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with generous portions of all the classic trimmings. It truly felt like a home-cooked meal, but elevated. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. They also went above and beyond for my girlfriend’s birthday, surprising us with a beautifully arranged cheeseboard for dessert, complete with a birthday candle. This thoughtful touch made the afternoon feel really personal and memorable. We were so impressed by the attention to detail and how welcome they made us feel. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!
Only ate the roast. Decor is 10/10, great location! We really enjoyed our meal and experience nnRoast was an amazing size, but some of the potatoes and stuffing left a lot to be desired, were a bit overcooked, which is why it doesn't get 5 stars.nnStill highly recommend!
The staff were incredible. On a busy Sunday the bartender took time to chat with us while we waited for our room at a different place to come available.nnWe went back later for dinner and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
