Friendly staff,, thanks for the welcome. We will be back a lot more frequently now. Not bothered about our puppy dog barking a little, unlike other pubs in the area that used to be associated with the Gate.
Really lovely. Beautiful surroundings, very old world-y. Limited but good menu for lunch. Service was excellent. It's usually required to book. Highly recommended.

We had afternoon tea at the Cosy Tearoom in The Gate today for a Mothers Day treat. The food and presentation were fab! I love that my 9 year old got a kids version as he is super fussy! He loved it! Highly recommended!

The Gate has a Games Night Every Friday hosted by Mark Curzon. By playing Spin the Wheel and Open the Box you can win Money or Free Drinks. Great atmosphere Highly Recommended as I always have a great time
The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The surroundings were good. We had afternoon tea and the food was very tasty and the sandwiches and cakes were really nice. They offered unlimited tea and coffee with the afternoon tea which was good. Thank you for a pleasant experience in the cosy tea room.
