Arrived in the afternoon and it wasn't very busy. Loads of free parking. We walked around the grounds a bit and said hello to the chickens. There was a tennis court and a camping area. Looked like a nice place to stay. The shop was amazing. Obviously it was all about the garlic but it was nicely done. Loads of free samples to try so you could taste before you buy. I personally felt it was all fairly priced. We bought some gifts from here and some sauces for ourselves. Lots of information everywhere about how garlic is good for you and the history of garlic. Lots of staff and they were easy to approach for questions. The cafe looked popular but we didn't eat here. Well worth the stop.
The farm is a very well organised attraction. There are long and short walks with QR code audio guides which make it really easy to engage with the environment and the work the owners are doing. We went to the cafe and whilst we enjoyed a snack it was not delivered with any degree of a smile. Coffee not great. Shop has lots of interesting garlic products and tastings. During half term there is a scary woodland trail.
lovely place: the farm walk is very relaxing and beautiful, the shop is stocked so well that makes you want to buy everything! we had lunch and everything was lovely. only a little disappointment with the mushrooms dish: in a restaurant where everything is so detailed and high quality we were expecting some higher standard mushrooms rather than small bottom ones, that always tend to be be slimy and unpleasant to eat.
For all your Garlic needs, we'll stocked shop and nice restaurant for food and drinks. Free parking and toilets. Well worth a visit.
A wonderful place to go , there are many trails to walk and enjoy the nature, there are some highland cows and regular cows, goats, and chickens. Their gift shop is amazing, they have tasters of all of the different garlic products they have for sell, the restaurant is quaint and the food is delicious.
Absolutely delightful place. Easy access and plenty parking onsite. Seed garlic as well as plenty garlic sauces at available. Lovely walk around the farm. Lovely restaurant though didn't visit it only popped in. A delight to visit and most unique.
Farm is beautiful and one can spend good 1-2 hrs around it. Farm walk is alright nothing to see as such. Farm shop and Restaurant is lovely and their food is great too. Garlic beer and garlic mayonnaise is a must try. Overall good experience.
Outstanding selection of local produce. Spacious parking area. Helpful and friendly service by the staff. You need plenty of time to see all the products on sale. Highly recommend. I'll definitely visit again when next in the IOW.
Quite easy to find the field for two Maddie to walk around but we went into the shop and bought lots of garlic products. Garlic butter, garlic jam, garlic cheese, garlic, beer, garlic chutney absolutely beautiful and you can taste it all before you buy it. Paid for then went to the restaurant. The restaurant was very good we had bacon cheeseburger with fries, garlic bread and garlic dip with salted sour dough bread. It was absolutely delicious and not a bad price. Me and my two boys thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are really lovely. Very polite. Very helpful table service. Food cooked very well. Delicious! The competence to the chef definitely go back again. If you go to the garlic shop you must go to the restaurant
Loved this little farm shop. We didn't tour anything other than the shop but we really like the selection and the fact you can taste before you buy. Like all small farm shops it's a little pricey so being able to taste before you buy really makes a difference. We spent about £30 and it was money well spent. If we visit the Isle of Wight again we will definitely pop back. Its also worth mentioning that the the only reason we went to the Garlic Farm Shop in the first place was that it was recommended by family who had visited before.
