Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff! The whole process from calling up to being seen was very quick and efficient. I was in pain for the last 3 days and today I finally called the practice and the lovely receptionist did her best to fit me in as soon as she could, which I much appreciate. Thank you so much!
They used to be really good. Since covid the waiting times and service has gone right down. I booked an appointment for my kids in, I think Nov to be seen in only Feb2022.. I think ! Then when I waiting to this much awaited appointment, the doc did not carry out any routine cleaning that is part of a normal appointment. She just examined their teeth. I was worried about this and said as they havent seen a dentist due to covid for a long time , can she please at least clean the plaque...the lady refused and said its nhs or some such guidelines due to covid and that I should take them to the hygenist if I want any cleaning done at all. I was not happy that she is making me pay for something that is part of her routine appointment and said so.I also said all covid restrictions have been lifted ages ago so why are you still even talkibg about covid. !! They did this until my kids' last visit in 22. I then find out from another mum I met, who is a dentist elsewhere that there is no such guideline. Its the dental practice may be. So they were lying as well ? I dont know. But beware.
Worst practice imaginable. Missed appointment due to being HOSPITALISED! Called immediately I got released and was informed I’ve been removed from the practice. Despite the fact she just took mould of my teeth for a denture. Such a terrible upsetting experience. Especially with all my health issues not to mention severe mental health issues. This practice is GENUINELY HEARTLESS. Please if you’re suicidal, depressed or dealing with health issues that may cause unpredictable emergencies, PLEASE STAY AWAY for the safety of your mental health and wellbeing. The way I was spoken to left me severely depressed and in tears. Please AVOID this place and find places that genuinely care about their patients.
No longer allowed to book appointments because I “have missed too many” even though it makes sense to contact the patient prior to booking them and the fact my contact details were changed and I wasn’t contacted via other contact options. Been with this practice for many many years and this is how they’ve decided to go about things.
I was left in more pain then before and I felt the dentist was rude and unwelcoming. Does not care much for NHS patients and does not care in general
1 hour waiting time because we attended 10 minutes late. Previously attended on time, still had to wait up to an hour. Poor management, impolite staff.
Robbery!!! Always referring to private services. For private service they can even make it possible straight away. What a robbery!!! She wanted to give a teeth cleaning despite the pain for £65!!!! Inhuman behaviour. No treatment given…. Even made the problem worse. My partner was having issue with wisdom teeth growing and extreme pain…. The dentist didn’t even look at the right part. She touched the wounded part with the spike of her hand tool that has led the pain to become intolerable!
Terrible service. Apparently denied service as 1 Appointment missed in the last 2-3 years. Apparently you will not be seen if you miss an appointment as a new patient, despite notification. Hardline Approach much? Practice Mgr Dr.Shah is a nightmare to deal with. No conversation can be had as always talked over in dismissive and condescending way. Tread with care as they may put you into detention dare you miss one appointment! Have now in the last week learned that since having the last conversation with Ms. R. Shah, she has now personally dispensed of my personal information and details of the conversation without my permission to other patients that I know, which according to the GDC is a serious breach of patient confidentiality, especially when repeated without due diligence and care, i.e. for incorrect reasons. Dr. R. Shah then proceeded to deny breaking patient confidentiality, then apologise for it and then deny it again, suddenly realising this review is out for everyone to see, despite understanding the information she disseminated is not what is written here and is much more sensitive. Appears to accuse myself of allowing for my own patient information to be seen in public, when this review does not detail any of my personal information or the details of the conversation had at length - which she discussed with other patients! She then proceeds to hang up the call, asking to "draw a line under this", which she has refused to recognise / apologise for. This sort of behaviour is not becoming of a care professional, and cannot be trusted with highly sensitive health care provisions. This is not someone who in my opinion has the social / interpersonal skills to deal with patients or people who may not understand certain aspects of policy, which they have innocently not abided by, who are frustrated. I will not be trusting of this individual again. Shame as the Dentists who work there have had some good reviews from friends who have seen them elsewhere.
This has been one of the best dental experiences Iv had in a long time. The whole team inspired confidence with regards to keeping me and the staff safe in this Covid times. I was especially impressed by my dentist Hannah and her assistant they were caring , listening and technically brilliant. I was in and out within 20 mins both issue sorted. I felt no pain even though i came in with a sensitive tooth. Thank you for your kindness and care you were brilliant
5* experience. Dr Achilles is very professional, the whole experience feels welcoming and he advised me through the whole process, explaining everything and he did a brilliant job in resolving my tooth pain. The receptionists and the nurse were also very welcoming. I would highly recommend this dental practice, they have good prices and a lovely atmosphere.
