I have recently had a couple of appointments with Dr Ahmed Hussain. The appointments have ranged from mental health to gallstone issues, and in all appointments face to face and telephone Dr Hussain has been extremely helpful. his demeanour around the issues is reassuring, polite and will fully listen to you about the issues you are having. The treatment received has been fantastic. Highly recommend.
Ring dead on 8 o'clock for opening, to be sat in the queue for 2 hours. Be left on caller one for 20 minutes to be told there is no appointments. Call 111 and be transferred back to the doctors to then all of a sudden an appointment come available on multiple occasions.Reception tell you no appointments available but still proceed to ask what is wrong with you. Online booking system and never any appointments available to book. Management is shocking. If they can’t fulfil appointments they shouldn’t take on patients. Should be automated mid call to tell you whilst waiting if all appointments have taken instead of wasting time on the phone.
Like all Doctors surgeries at the minute, you have to wait ages to try and book an appointment. However recently my daughter had problems, was sent via 111 to a and e and admitted for 4 days.nDr Okogie is my daughters best Doc.
This is not a surgery for working people or school age children, so my entire family demographic. You can, if you push, book an appointment in advance but it will be 3-4weeks away and only between school hours. Any other appointments you have to try and book on the day by calling between 8-8.30, great, if I wasn't either on the school run or driving to work. It's beyond a joke trying to get in here! although on a couple of occasions where I have DEMANDED a phone appointment the Dr's have been excellent and both times managed to prevent hospital admission through their speed of care and action, albeit having actually come from the Holbrook's surgery.
The receptionist on today, I didn’t catch her name was fantastic
