Lovely spot but spoiled by dogs in the pond. Ducks and grebesnest there but visitors neglect the wildlife. Sad. Needs better signage and supervision tho the wardens do their best.
A true Haven in the Phoenix Park. An idealic place for a Walk, Cycle or even a spot of fishing. It's also a great spot for the keen eyed photographer as there is a lot of wildlife, small pond and forest area.
Nice small lake hiding in Phoenix park. Nothing special. But around area is quiet and good for walking.
I grew up beside here. It's a great area with lots of different hills and a a lake area. One of the best areas in the park.
Nicest spot in the Phoenix Park... Pairc an fionn Uisce park of the clear water
One of the most beautiful places in Ireland!
Quiet, handy parking and the kids got a kick out of seen the deers.
A beautiful, tranquil space where you can take various routes to investigate your surroundings. For those whose mobility is restricted there is a tarmac road that leads you from the Upper Glen road, down to the Glen pond and around to the Carpark beside Mount Sackville gate and the recently revamped tourist information office. I have found that occasionally after it has rained this road can be a bit slippy so bear this in mind. For everyone else there loads of tracks & trails throught the forest. It can be quiet rough in these areas so consider your footwear.
One of my favourite corners of the park, with nicely contoured woodland trails, Glen Lake, ducks, deer, squirrels and rabbits.
The furry Glen is a beautiful trail for an adventure with kids especially when it had been raining the night before. The children love to slide on the mud along the hill. Great fun
