Visited today with my Daughter, everything is gated with access at adult height so child are safe! Fresh food available and the play bit is outstanding!! There's something for all ages, the space is clean and tidy. Staff are polite and helpful. Pictures don't do it justice
Turned up as a treat for my son. We've not been for about a year. We arrived to find that they no longer accept card payments, just cash!!!! Who carries cash nowadays? Went to 2 cashpoints that weren't working. So had to leave. Very very upset child.nShould have the voice of cash or card.nTAKE CASH!!!!!
It’s ok. Not the best place I’ve been to but it’s ok.nnYou need cash- they had a card machine but it never worked/they had “issues with it” so instead of getting a new card machine we have to go get cash. Everywhere else manages to use card machines so I don’t get why this place doesn’t… So if you go out without a card for any reason, then you might as well go back home.nnThe food has gotten better recently.nnA lot of the time older kids ruin the under 4s area, parents are oblivious and we need to alert staff.nnAlso, your timings are always changing! You close at 3 then another week you close at 2 or 1pm?! Stay consistent with the days and timings, it’s not a good business move when you’re all over the place with opening times!
This is a great place to bring kids! There is good parking available, which is always a plus. I do think it would be beneficial if they added more activities geared towards toddlers. Overall, it is a nice place for families.
Facilities and staff were spot on. However, visit was ruined by the behaviour of an unsupervised child. The parent spent the whole time on her phone, apart from when she was stuffing her face with chips, whilst her child spoilt the 'fun' for others.nWithin 5 minutes of my arrival, with my twn granddaughters, this unpleasant child had punched them both in the stomach. One of my grandchildren they are 5yrs old spent the rest of our visit playing in the under 4's area to avoid further attacks.nMy other granddaughter tried to avoid this individual too but he decided to wait at the bottom of the slide, kicking all the children that passed him. When the Mother was challenged, she set about blaming everybody else, saying that her son has a learning disability and that no-one understands the difficulties that she faces. As usual, it is never their fault and the Mother suggested that everyone should be educated on the needs of her son. If this child has a learning disability, more like a badly behaved child without adult supervision then surely the over stimulation caused by this environment should be avoided.nIt is the parent's responsibility to ensure that their child behaves appropriately in this type of environment. Unfortunately, one unpleasant individual spoilt the enjoyment of numerous others
