Quite enjoy going to the Full House. Over the years it's had alsorts of reputations but I would say don't let the past put you off, it's definitely improved and is a very enjoyable place to go. A refurbishment a few years ago has really brought back to life and has helped ensure it looks clean and modern.nIf you're seeking a Whetherspoons with a bit of local history then this will be a great stop for you. It also boasts a rather long bar so you won't struggle to get served unless the stars align and it's pay day and a bank Holiday weekend.nThe staff are very accommodating and friendly, our visit today was no exception. From service at the bar to the front of house team, everyone was great. Swift service at the bar and then keeping the tables and floors clean whilst ensuring diners had everything they need to enjoy their meal. An enjoyable experience.
I’m honestly really disappointed with how I was treated today at the Full House in Hemel Hempstead.nnI ordered toast and was served plain cold bread because the toasters were broken, but nobody told me when ordering. Staff then acted like I should just accept it.nnThey later said there was a sign outside, but realistically most people won’t notice a tiny sign on a door - customers should be told directly before ordering.nnThis also isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here. Last time, half my order couldn’t be made because the ovens were broken.nnAnother time, I was waiting to be served for 10 mins and a bloke waltzes in and gets served immediately.nnWhat upset me most was the attitude and the way I was spoken to. People nearby actually turned around because of how rude the interaction was.nnAs someone who is neurodiverse and struggles with complex PTSD, I was left feeling embarrassed and belittled over something that could’ve been handled with basic communication.nnAdded note: we bumped into our neighbours here and one of them had their food delivered 30 mins ago and the other one hasn’t seen his so he’s had to go and complain! This place is a shambles!
Large, characterful pub with a striking interior that gives it more personality than the average chain venue. The atmosphere is lively but comfortable, making it suitable both for a casual meal and for drinks with friends. Food is consistent and dependable, served promptly even during busier periods. Drinks selection is broad and well kept, and the service is efficient without feeling rushed. Overall, a solid, no-nonsense place where you know what to expect and can relax without complications.
Used to love going into these for our breakfasts once a month .1st time at this one and last time to .tables filthy and sticky .toilets dirty and need a refresh and cleannStaff not so happy eithernCarpets and overall place needs a good clean and refresh .nAnd manners coat nothing .food cold. And couldn't wait to leave .nSorry won't be back .nSorry abt my review but have to be honest .only positive is it once was a cinema back in the day so history great ....
Great atmosphere and lovely decor of an old cinema... friendly and helpful staff. Fed the family of 4 AND DRINKS for 35 quid. 2 burgers meals with drinks, a kids meal and 10 wings and a beer. Best wings I hemel hands down
