Thoroughly impressed with our lunch visit today Friday @1pm. Staff were a credit to the place- friendly and helpful. Food was quick to arrive and exactly as expected from our menu choices. Recommend the dessert with apple sorbet- yum! Our dog was also welcomed warmly. We will certainly visit again. Thanks!

Great spot to hit after work in the Burgess Hill technology park. Good service, tasty food, and great drinks!  Between the Rhubarb Gin and Chicken Curry, one cannot go wrong! Will be back later on during during my trip.

Haven't been here for a while a few years actually so decided to take the family for a meal the place has had a make over since my last visit and it looks amazing the food is also very good I had the Korean style bbq chicken skewers and I highly recommend this dish it's to die for and to top it all off the staff are just brilliant service with a smile will be making more visits from now on and if you fancy something different give this place a go

My friend I had a lovely afternoon at the Friars Oak. We only had cocktails Mon to Fri 2x £12! They were very nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Will go back.

Excellent meal at Friars Oak. Staff welcoming and attentive.  Prompt service.  Food delicious and well cooked.  Chicken Forestiere x2, Sticky toffee pudding and Morello Cherry Creme Brulee Recommended to all

Great welcome on our arrival. Taken to our booked table and was made to feel welcome. The menu was explained, a couple of meals were not available and we ordered drinks.

Family dinner for 4 people. We are very familiar with this pub as used to frequent many times in the past. Since it’s refurbishment The Friars Oak has really upped its game. Beautiful interior and decor. Homely and cosy log fires in winter and well kept pub garden for Spring/Summer. A very nice menu with lots of options to please most palates. Our waitress Jemima was an absolute gem, sweet, bubbly and full of humour and smiles the whole night. She engaged with us beautifully and we really enjoyed being looked after by her. She is a great asset to your team. Our food was very good quality & service was quick & efficient. We were even convinced to go for pudding which was equally delightful. Thank you Friars Oak for a lovely evening, we will definitely return.

Food was very nice.  Although,  my wife felt the prawns in the  Lemon & Thyme Prawn tasted quite bland. My son and I had the Pork Loin. This was delicious but the apple sorbet was a warm liquid when it was served so not actually sorbet at all. Service was excellent although it was clear the staff were very busy. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely return soon.

Lovely atmosphere Lovely food good service and very friendly. Me and my friend always come here and its so relaxing there.

This pub is soooo nice! Everyone is lovely and the food is just amazing! I had the best Billionaire Bomb I've ever had there and my waiter - Jemima - was so sweet. I don't know which one was sweeter. Would 100% recommend!
