I stopped as I saw what looked like raclette cheese, I asked pointing at it and the very friendly lady said yes it is we have two types, so I decided to get some, but to my surprise she picked up the cheese on top. I'm no cheese expert, but grew up eating raclette and this to me doesn't smell, taste, look or melts like raclette. I was quite disappointed as I'm not often in borough market and was looking forward to get raclette. The cheese is otherwise good, looks more like an alpine cheese, they have a decent selection and as I said the lady was very friendly, but it would have been nice to come home with the cheese I thought I was buying.
This is the most amazing french cheese shop you can find in London if you miss France . They have such a big selection of fine french cheese that you can hardly find in big stores . Prices vary but so do tastes . My star is the french truffle brie that is so unique in composition and gives you so much pleasure that you cannot compare anything else to it . You have to check it out !
I love the cheese and saucisson that they have, they sell the best Comte from the market and the most tasty saucisson and cured meat charcuterie in general All the cheeses are great, my favourite one it’s tomme with truffles Their cheeses have medals being one of the most delicious cheese around the world, I recommend coming to Borough market and get some cheese from their store
Amazing products! I purchased Brie with truffles and it’s absolutely delicious ! Nothing like the similar cheese from other brands. It even surpasses truffle brie from Carrefour in France! Will definitely be back for more!

We have recently moved into the neighbourhood and love the quality of produce in Borough Market. One of the real highlights is The French Comté where the cheese is gorgeous and the service is delightful. Love it!

Bought some Coppa today and it was delicious, they have a vast selection of French regional products at fair prices and the service was lovely. I highly recommend. Merci à vous, ça fait du bien quand on est Expat ! :
A trip to Burrough Market is a must when in London. A trip to The French Comte is a must when your at Burrough Market!!! Seriously the people that run the shop are absolutely the best. Since they are French they have knowledge and passion about selling the best cheeses their country has to offer. Prices are very reasonable and there is a great selection. When staying in London I definitely will go out of my way to only buy my cheese from them. Great thing is The Tube drops you off pretty much at The Market’s doorsteps. So easy to get there!!! But it’s the customer service that is phenomenal!!! I live in Wisconsin and wanted to surprise my French friend with a Christmas basket with all the best. I contacted Charles and he spent so much time with me getting every little detail just perfect. Between the two of us actually totally him the gift basket was delivered and the presentation was stunning with the most amazing cheeses and little extras. My top 3 reasons you should go there: 1. Cheese is Fabulous!!! 2. Prices are Great! 3. These people are Really Really Nice!!! Cheers, L.
